Preorder Goodnight Vienna:

In 1973, Ringo released his self-titled Ringo, which yielded three Top 5 Billboard Pop singles, including the No. 1 hits “Photograph” and “You’re Sixteen (You’re Beautiful And You’re Mine),” and the No. 5 hit “Oh My My.” Platinum-certified in the U.S., the Ringo album peaked at No. 1 in Canada, at No. 2 in the U.S., and at No. 7 in the UK. All of Ringo’s Beatles bandmates joined him to participate in the album; Richard Perry produced and its notable guest players also include Billy Preston on organ, Harry Nilsson background vocals, Klaus Voormann on bass and sax, and Robbie Robertson on guitar.

Ringo released his fourth solo album, Goodnight Vienna in 1974, racking up more hits, including the Top 5 Billboard Pop singles “Snookeroo,” written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, and “No No Song.” The album also features Ringo’s cover of the Platters’ “Only You,” which peaked at No. 6 on the Pop chart, and the title track, written by John Lennon. Perry, Preston, Voormann, Nilsson, and Robertson once again joined Ringo to collaborate in the studio, among others.

For the holiday season, Ringo’s beloved 1999 Christmas album I Wanna Be Santa Claus has been released on vinyl for the first time ever.

In September this year, Ringo released his 19th solo album, Give More Love, before he hit the road again in October and November with his All Starrs. Ringo Starr and His All Starrs have confirmed several European tour dates for June and July 2018. Visit ringostarr.com/tour for more information.

I was not sure my marriage can be saved. My husband moved out of our married home, we had a fight and argued about infidelity, my husband looked into my eyes said it was over. He had a love affair with another woman from a neighborhood, then little while ago they broke-up as well, I thought then we had a chance to be back together as husband and wife but he continues to seek companionship from other women.

He refuses to give our marriage a chance. We had two kids together and for more than 2 years to make it work but he is not willing to return back home.

I brought my original CD's of RINGO and GOODNIGHT VIENNA into my car today to listen to both of them from beginning to end. Love both of those albums! Apple/Capitol/Universal should release a Deluxe version of the RINGO Album with out takes, B-sides and whatever they can find from the sessions like the B-side of Photograph -  Down and Out . It was just as important as any Beatles album because all 4 Beatles appear on it. Also, on I'm The Greatest you have Ringo, John, George and Klaus Voorman all present on that track. The only 2 times that hapened on a solo effort was I'm the Greatest, and All Those Years Ago by George Harrison with George, Paul and Ringo. Only times that 3 Beatles all appear on a solo Beatle track.

Listening to my original vinyl “Goodnight Vienna” as I write. Dug it out last week and it hasn’t  been off the turntable since. I feel (like his other great LPs such as “Rotogravure”) that while it’s unfairly overshadowed by the brilliant “Ringo”, it’s still a magnificent disc.  Happy X-mas Ringo! Peace and Love!
